In 2025, KOSTAL once again demonstrates what true system expertise means – with an exciting line-up of product innovations, technical highlights, and intelligent solutions for the energy transition of tomorrow. Whether it's inverters, storage, e-mobility, digitalisation or cybersecurity: KOSTAL combines efficiency, flexibility, and innovation – with the reliability of Made in Germany.

PLENTICORE G3 – The 3 x 3 x 3 principle for maximum flexibility

With just three device types, the PLENTICORE G3 covers up to 27 applications – and does so powerfully, future-proof and universally. The PLENTICORE impresses with up to 20 kW hybrid power, asymmetrical allocation, backup power capability and minimal installation effort.

Thanks to DC inputs up to 30 A, the KOSTAL premium inverter is ready for the latest solar modules with high currents. Additional features include EEBus integration without additional hardware, low input voltage (from 75 V), integrated device display – all in a particularly compact design. The PLENTICORE G3 meets all relevant requirements such as §14a EnWG (German Energy Industry Act) and the Solar Peak Act – for maximum safety and flexibility in everyday use.

PLENTICORE MP – The Smart Solution for Smaller Systems

The new PLENTICORE MP is the single-phase answer to the varied requirements of smaller PV systems. Based on the proven KOSTAL G3 platform, it offers WLAN, Comboard technology, a consistent design, and easy commissioning. Fully compatible with the KOSTAL ENECTOR wallbox, the BackUp Switch MP, and a wide range of high-voltage batteries.

Ideal for repowering projects: for legacy systems up to 5 kW, rewiring is unnecessary. The KOSTAL G3 platform standardises processes, reduces training effort, and effortlessly meets future requirements – even for single-phase systems.

BackUp Switch – Backup Power Made Simple and Reliable

With the BackUp Switch, KOSTAL makes backup power easier than ever: suitable for both single-phase and three-phase systems, it delivers reliable energy supply during outages.

The integrated line break detection increases safety, while the supply of individual circuits or the entire home grid can be flexibly configured. Thanks to easy installation and seamless integration, both installers and end users benefit.

Backup power becomes standard – without complex retrofitting or costly add-on components. A strong solution for greater independence and supply security.

KOSTAL Storage Solutions – Flexible, Efficient and Technology-Open

KOSTAL focuses on maximum flexibility with up to seven compatible battery partners – from proven brands to cost-effective options. New demands such as dynamic tariffs and e-mobility are easily met with larger capacities, such as the DYNESS Stack 100 or ZYC cascades with up to eight battery towers.

Thanks to real high-voltage technology without lossy DC/DC converters, the systems offer peak efficiency. All solutions undergo comprehensive testing at KOSTAL facilities. The HTW storage inspection confirms this: eight top rankings for storage efficiency. PLENTICORE plus and PLENTICORE G3 are placed in the top energy class A – together with BYD storage.

PIKO CI G2 – Compact, Powerful, and Efficient

The new generation of the PIKO CI impresses with performance, safety, and user-friendliness. Available in 30, 50, and 100 kW – ideal for commercial applications.

Despite its high performance, the housing remains compact. The integrated Smart AC Switch replaces external coupling switches, while arc detection across all power classes ensures maximum safety.

Integrated and replaceable AC/DC surge protection is included. Commissioning is fast and intuitive via the PIKO CI app – now also via Bluetooth. A future-proof solution for high-performance commercial PV systems.

Digitalisation – Simpler. Faster. Smarter.

KOSTAL accelerates the energy transition with digital solutions that make everyday tasks easier. The KOSTAL Solar App in PRO mode enables commissioning in just a few minutes. Thanks to PLENTICOIN, features like power upgrades or storage connections can be activated immediately – during installation or later.

The KOSTAL Solar Terminal centralises all services – quickly, securely, and clearly. The KOSTAL Solar Plan is now also available as a web version – for smartphone, tablet, and desktop. For planners, installers, and consultants, KOSTAL provides a complete digital ecosystem that optimises workflows and simplifies access to modern energy solutions.

ENECTOR – Smart and Future-Ready Solar Charging

With ENECTOR, home charging becomes intelligent: the wallbox is scalable – from a basic to a smart solution. A software update enables automatic switching between single-phase and three-phase charging. The swarm configuration of two parallel ENECTOR wallboxes offers added convenience, while Time Mode enables cost-effective charging with dynamic tariffs.

Other advantages include low standby consumption (<1 W), a 7.5 m charging cable, and an ADAC test rating of “Good”. ENECTOR is compatible with KOSTAL systems and already §14a EnWG ready – ideal for future challenges.

Dynamic Electricity Tariffs – Save More, Charge Smarter

Dynamic electricity tariffs are gamechangers – and KOSTAL is ready. Its products already support exchange-based electricity prices. The inverter includes this function out of the box – no additional devices needed.

This optimises the charging of electric vehicles or batteries automatically. KOSTAL inverters are also compatible with many energy managers, enabling flexible, legal, and future-proof energy use. This increases self-consumption, reduces costs, and provides greater control.

PV Modules with 17A/30A – Performance Without Limits

The future belongs to high-performance PV modules – and KOSTAL is ready. The PLENTICORE G3 can handle input currents up to 30 A – ideal for modern modules and larger wafers. This enables full use of the latest generation of modules – with no power loss. Whether bifacial or large wafer modules: KOSTAL inverters are already compatible, efficient, and future-ready.
