The KOSTAL guarantee for greater safety
Extend the warranty period for your inverter and wallbox free of charge. Find out more about the warranty for your HELIVOR HV battery storage system, which is activated ex-works.
Smart Warranty
The Smart Warranty extends the warranty period of the KOSTAL inverters and wallboxes free of charge. All that is required is a one-time activation in our "KOSTAL Solar Webshop" by the installer. Activation is uncomplicated and possible within the first 6 months after initial commissioning.
It is that simple:
Step 1: Log in to the KOSTAL Solar Terminal
Step 2: Click on the Smart Warranty tile
Step 3: Enter system and location data
Step 4: Activate warranty
Done! You will receive the warranty certificate immediately by e-mail.
Smart Warranty Plus – for all KOSTAL inverters up to 20 kW
KOSTAL Solar Electric is extending its warranty cover for all inverters up to 20 kW to 10 years for units commissioned on or after 1 April 2022.
With Smart Warranty plus, you also receive a parts warranty from the sixth year of operation.
This means that the new Smart Warranty plus, including the statutory warranty, covers a total warranty period of 10 years.
Important: Registration on the KOSTAL Solar Portal is also a prerequisite for the Smart Warranty plus.
KOSTAL Warranty – for HELIVOR HV battery storage systems
The HELIVOR HV battery system is covered by a 10-year warranty from the date of initial commissioning (no later than 12 months after delivery by KOSTAL).
It is not necessary or possible to activate the warranty, as it is automatically activated upon delivery and is therefore valid without further registration.

KOSTAL warranty extension
For our customers who would like to have their inverters protected for even longer, the fee-based KOSTAL warranty extension offers an additional extension option. Within the first two years, the warranty period can be extended by a further 5 years from the date of purchase by your installer.
The warranty extension can be ordered conveniently via the KOSTAL Solar Webshop by your installer - easily and quickly, around the clock and even at weekends. You will receive the warranty certificate just as quickly and easily by e-mail. To be able to order the KOSTAL warranty extension, the Smart Warranty must be activated in the KOSTAL Solar Webshop for the respective inverter.
