Transparent and clear communication

Directive (EU) 2024/825 – ‘Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition’ (EmpCo) – has further clarified the requirements for consumer information and, in particular, for environmental claims.

KOSTAL Solar Electric has reviewed the resulting communication requirements and is taking them into account in the design and further development of its marketing and product communications.

In doing so, we take particular care to ensure that statements regarding environmental aspects, energy efficiency, product characteristics and comparable performance features are formulated in a concrete, comprehensible manner and relate to the respective scope of application. Generalised or insufficiently substantiated statements are avoided or amended.

To this end, KOSTAL Solar Electric continuously reviews relevant communication materials and digital content and, where necessary, adapts them to comply with the applicable legal requirements.

Our commitment

Our communication aims to enable customers, specialist partners and consumers to gain a factual and comprehensible understanding of our products, functions and technical characteristics. Specific performance, efficiency or environmental claims are therefore – where necessary – based on defined product characteristics, measured values, tests or other verifiable criteria.
