More choice for the PLENTICORE G3: KOSTAL and M-TEC expand storage options
The M-TEC Energy Tower complements the range of compatible high-voltage batteries for the KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 family. Installers benefit from additional options when planning and implementing bespoke PV and storage solutions.
KOSTAL is expanding the range of compatible battery storage systems for its PLENTICORE G3 inverters. The M-TEC Energy Tower is another modular high-voltage battery that can be configured to meet a variety of requirements in both domestic and commercial settings.
This combination brings together the versatile application options of KOSTAL inverters with M-TEC’s scalable storage concept. This gives specialist partners additional flexibility when installing new photovoltaic systems and retrofitting existing ones.
Modular storage capacity for a range of requirements
The M-TEC Energy Tower is based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology and can be configured with between two and ten battery modules. Depending on the configuration, nominal storage capacities ranging from 9.2 to 46.0 kWh are available.
The modular design allows for customisation to suit specific needs – from detached houses with battery storage right through to applications with higher energy requirements.
With its compact design and integrated battery management system, the Energy Tower offers a further option for planning high-performance energy storage systems.
PLENTICORE G3: Flexibility with inverters and storage
The KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 range offers various solutions for integrating battery storage systems:
- PLENTICORE G3 (S, M, L): Three-phase hybrid inverters for the direct DC connection of high-voltage batteries.
- PLENTICORE MP G3: Single-phase inverter solution with optional battery storage connection.
- PLENTICORE BI 25 G3: High-performance battery inverter for AC-coupled storage systems and the retrofitting of existing installations.
With the Energy Tower from M-TEC, KOSTAL is expanding the range of possible storage combinations and underlining its technology-neutral system approach.
This enables installers to choose from a variety of storage solutions and tailor PV systems specifically to their customers’ requirements.
Further information on the approved storage combinations, supported configurations and technical requirements can be found in the latest KOSTAL battery compatibility list.
