KOSTAL at Sustainable Solutions Düsseldorf: Ready for 2027. Ready for more.

New storage solutions, smart energy management and the future of bidirectional charging – KOSTAL is demonstrating in Düsseldorf how photovoltaics, storage, heating and electric mobility can be combined to form a high-performance integrated system.

The energy sector is changing. With the planned 2027 amendment to the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG), dynamic electricity tariffs and increasing demands for smart energy management, self-consumption, flexibility and the interconnection of different consumers are becoming increasingly important. At Sustainable Solutions Düsseldorf on 2 and 3 December 2026, KOSTAL will showcase the possibilities offered by modern photovoltaic systems today and the innovations that herald the next stage of development.

The focus will be on new products for storing and using self-generated energy, smart charging solutions and open energy management. Together with its partners my-PV and beegy, KOSTAL will demonstrate how electricity generation, storage, heating and electric mobility can be intelligently integrated.

Using energy intelligently: self-consumption becomes a key success factor

Photovoltaics has long since come to mean more than simply generating and feeding solar power into the grid. It is becoming increasingly important when and for what purpose self-generated energy is used. Battery storage, heat pumps, electric water heating and electric vehicles open up new possibilities for increasing self-consumption and optimising electricity procurement from the grid in a targeted manner.

With my-PV and beegy, KOSTAL presents two partners that embrace this systems-based approach. Whilst my-PV enables the use of surplus PV energy for heating through smart solutions for electric water heating, beegy’s Home Energy Management System integrates various energy components. Dynamic electricity tariffs, grid-friendly control in accordance with Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG) and integration into direct marketing open up additional opportunities for cost-effective and future-oriented system operation.

Particularly in light of the planned amendments to the EEG from 2027 onwards, it is clear that the smart use of self-generated energy and the flexibility of the entire energy system are becoming increasingly important.

New KOSTAL highlights for the energy supply of tomorrow

With a wide range of new products and enhancements, KOSTAL demonstrates how modern energy systems can be planned, installed and operated more easily.

NEW: HELIVOR AXIS – the all-in-one energy solution

With HELIVOR AXIS, KOSTAL offers a glimpse into a new generation of integrated energy systems. This all-in-one solution combines an inverter and battery storage in a coordinated system. The compact design simplifies planning and installation and offers an attractive solution for storing and using self-generated solar energy.

Highlight: HELIVOR HV – the high-voltage battery storage system from KOSTAL

With HELIVOR HV, KOSTAL offers a modular high-voltage battery storage system that can be flexibly adapted to different energy requirements. This scalable storage solution complements the KOSTAL product portfolio and enables high-performance storage concepts for domestic and commercial applications.

NEW: PLENTICORE BI 25 – greater performance for larger storage projects

The new PLENTICORE BI 25 battery inverter expands KOSTAL’s range for demanding energy storage applications. With an output of 25 kW, it is particularly suitable for larger residential buildings, commercial premises and the retrofitting of existing PV systems. The AC-coupled architecture enables flexible system designs and opens up additional opportunities for optimising self-consumption and intelligent load management.

Highlight: PLENTICORE G3 – one inverter, endless possibilities

The PLENTICORE G3 universal PV and hybrid inverter offers maximum flexibility. Its standout feature is that its functions and performance can be expanded as required via PLENTICOIN. This allows installers and operators to tailor the inverter to individual requirements – even after installation. This reduces the number of variants and ensures long-term investment security.

NEW: ENECTOR G2 and G2 MID – the next generation of smart charging

With the second generation of its successful KOSTAL Wallbox, KOSTAL is consistently advancing the integration of photovoltaics and electric mobility. The ENECTOR G2 enables smart, PV-optimised charging and can be integrated into modern energy systems. The ENECTOR G2 MID also offers a variant with MID-compliant energy metering, which is particularly useful for billing privately charged company cars.

Highlight: ENECTOR VISION BiDi – a look ahead at bidirectional charging

With ENECTOR VISION BiDi, KOSTAL offers a glimpse into the next generation of charging infrastructure. This future bidirectional charging solution is designed to integrate electric vehicles even more closely into the energy system and, in the long term, also enable energy to be fed back into the grid.

In doing so, KOSTAL is combining expertise from various divisions within the company: the interaction with the on-board charger (OBC) developed by KOSTAL Automotive Electronics demonstrates how innovations from automotive engineering and photovoltaics are converging. In this way, the electric vehicle will, in the long term, become an active component of a smart energy system.

NEW: KOSTAL Auto BackUp Switch – Simple, Automatic Backup Power

KOSTAL expands its backup power solutions with the automatic KOSTAL Auto BackUp Switch. This compact, cost-effective concept enables convenient, automatic switching to backup power during a grid outage, making energy security even more accessible for private households.

Highlight: KOSTAL Energy Meter – The New Standard for Smart PV Systems

With the KOSTAL Energy Meter, KOSTAL delivers an energy meter that streamlines the measurement and control of energy flows. Positioned as the new standard component in the KOSTAL ecosystem, it provides an essential foundation for self-consumption optimization, smart charging, and seamless coordination with other energy assets.

Openly Connected. Easily Installed. Personally Supported.

Across all technological advancements, one core requirement remains paramount for KOSTAL: new solutions must perform reliably in the everyday work of trade professionals.
That is why straightforward installation, intuitive commissioning, and dependable system integration take center stage during product development. Coordinated components, digital tools, and intelligent control functions are engineered to reduce complexity for installers while broadening the capabilities of modern PV systems.

KOSTAL deliberately relies on open interfaces and collaboration with specialized technology partners. This creates versatile solutions adaptable to diverse requirements without locking installers and operators into a closed proprietary ecosystem.

Personal service is another cornerstone. With dedicated contacts, technical support, and practice-oriented training programs, KOSTAL accompanies trade professionals from project planning and commissioning through ongoing system operation.
