Intersolar Europe 2026: New products, new applications, more opportunities

Under the trade fair slogan “More possibilities. Less complexity.”, KOSTAL demonstrated how modern energy systems can be implemented in a simple and practical way.

KOSTAL looks back on Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich with a positive outcome and more than 4,400 visitors. In the year marking its 20th anniversary, KOSTAL, together with its partners, presented solutions for the connected energy world of tomorrow and demonstrated how modern photovoltaic systems can be made fit for the future through smart connectivity, high flexibility and reliable safety.

“The response at our stand was consistently positive,” explains Frank Henn, Managing Director of KOSTAL Solar Electric. “Our customers are looking for solutions that intelligently manage energy and link different areas of application. This is precisely what our open system approach stands for: with just a few hardware components, we are constantly creating new applications and uses through intelligent combinations. This offers retailers and tradespeople a high degree of flexibility whilst keeping complexity to a minimum.”

Intersolar 2026: An overview of all KOSTAL’s new products

There was particular interest in the trade fair premieres, through which KOSTAL is consistently expanding its portfolio. The focus was on solutions that open up new application possibilities whilst reducing complexity for retailers, tradespeople and system operators.

KOSTAL All-in-One HELIVOR AXIS

With the new KOSTAL All-in-One HELIVOR AXIS, the inverter and storage system merge to form a compact energy centre. In doing so, KOSTAL is consistently building on the success story of the PLENTICORE – from the Hybrid inverter through the Universal inverter to the integrated all-in-one solution.

KOSTAL PLENTICORE BI 25 battery inverter

The PLENTICORE BI 25 battery inverter for high-performance and flexible storage applications. Thanks to the freedom to choose compatible high-voltage batteries and high storage capacities, the PLENTICORE BI offers maximum design flexibility for commercial projects.

KOSTAL ENECTOR G2 wallbox

The second generation of the ENECTOR G2 wallbox integrates seamlessly into the KOSTAL energy system comprising an inverter, battery storage and energy management. As the ENECTOR G2 MID, it also enables transparent tracking of charging processes and the billing of company cars for private use.

KOSTAL Innovations & Ideas

Alongside its new products, KOSTAL presented numerous enhancements designed to make everyday life easier for installers, service partners and system operators. The focus was particularly on ease of use, serviceability and security of supply.

  • Clever: KOSTAL Multi Device Control enables multiple inverters within a system to be intelligently controlled. This opens up new possibilities for larger and more complex energy systems.
  • Helpful: With KOSTAL Remote Access, installers and service partners gain secure remote access to compatible KOSTAL systems – subject to authorisation by the system operator – for faster diagnostics, more efficient service and shorter response times.
  • Automatic: The KOSTAL BackUp Switch ensures automatic switchover to backup power in the event of a grid failure, thereby increasing the security of supply in the home.
  • Professional: The enhanced KOSTAL Solar App offers new features for monitoring, transparency and energy management. Additional features for installers simplify commissioning, servicing and system maintenance.

Looking to the future

Alongside the new products, discussions also centred on numerous future-oriented and industry-related topics. There was a particularly clear interest in solutions that combine security, independence and long-term investment security.

Cyber security

The topic of cyber security was equally in high demand. With an eye to new regulatory requirements and the increasing interconnection of energy systems, KOSTAL provided information on current security concepts, secure communication channels and the company’s long-term focus on future European requirements.

Made in Germany

The ‘Made in Germany’ quality promise also attracted a great deal of attention. Particularly in a dynamic market environment, partners and customers value the reliability of a family-run business that can look back on more than 114 years of company history and 20 years of innovation in the solar industry. For KOSTAL, ‘Made in Germany’ stands for high manufacturing quality, durable product designs, direct points of contact and long-term planning certainty.

Bidirectional charging

A much-discussed topic for the future at the exhibition stand was bidirectional charging. KOSTAL provided an outlook on upcoming developments relating to inverters, energy storage and charging infrastructure, and outlined initial prospects for the integration of bidirectional applications into future energy systems.

KOSTAL product portfolio

The exhibition presence was rounded off by the tried-and-tested portfolio comprising the PLENTICORE plus G2 Hybrid inverter, the PLENTICORE G3 Universal inverter and the commercial inverters of the PIKO CI series.

More possibilities. Less complexity.

Intersolar Europe 2026 has once again demonstrated that the demands placed on modern energy systems are growing. At the same time, there is an increasing need for solutions that are flexible, reliable and easy to use.

KOSTAL is responding to this trend with an open system approach, suitable products, customer-focused service and the clear aim of opening up new possibilities and business opportunities – for both the retail sector and the trades alike.
