New opportunities. More possibilities. Photovoltaics – more exciting than ever!

At Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, KOSTAL will demonstrate how modern PV systems can be intelligently networked whilst ensuring efficient implementation.

More power, more comfort: an overview of the new features

The photovoltaic sector continues to evolve – and with it, the opportunities for retailers, tradespeople and system operators. Alongside traditional electricity generation, smart control systems, dynamic electricity tariffs, storage solutions, e-mobility and digital connectivity are becoming increasingly important. At the same time, new opportunities are emerging in the fields of energy management, system integration and flexible energy applications.

At Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, KOSTAL will demonstrate how these opportunities can be implemented simply and practically. The focus will be on solutions for easy installation, smart connectivity and an efficiently integrated energy system – from inverters and storage systems to wallboxes and digital services.

Storage, tariffs, control systems & e-mobility expand the traditional PV system

“Photovoltaics is more exciting than ever,” explains Frank Henn, Managing Director of KOSTAL Solar Electric. “Solar power, storage, dynamic electricity tariffs, smart control and e-mobility are now expanding traditional PV systems to include numerous new applications and additional possibilities. Installers, wholesalers, partners and system operators all benefit equally from this – through greater flexibility, new business opportunities and more efficient energy management.”

“There is a demand for solutions that intelligently manage energy, utilise dynamic electricity prices and can integrate other areas such as heat pumps or e-mobility,” Henn continues. “To this end, KOSTAL pursues a deliberately open system approach: hardware, software and digital services – including those from third-party providers – mesh perfectly to create flexible solutions with real benefits for system operators – both today and in the future’s new electricity market design. Thanks to the broad compatibility of KOSTAL products, our customers remain flexible and can utilise the solution that best suits their needs.”

Modern solutions for modern energy systems

A particular focus is on new product and system solutions, which KOSTAL is presenting for the first time at Intersolar Europe 2026. These include, among others:

  • NEW: KOSTAL PLENTICORE BI 25
battery inverter The high-performance solution for modern storage applications and smart energy distribution – designed for high flexibility and new possibilities in storage, self-consumption and energy management
  • NEW: KOSTAL Multi-Device-Control
The intelligent control of multiple inverters simplifies planning, installation and energy management – particularly for larger or more complex system designs
  • NEW: KOSTAL Wallbox ENECTOR G2 & ENECTOR G2 MID
New possibilities for smart charging with an expanded range of functions, easy integration into the KOSTAL system, and solutions for modern requirements such as company car billing
  • NEW: KOSTAL BackUp Switch
Greater supply reliability through automatic switchover in the event of a backup – easily integrated into modern PV systems with storage
  • Highlight: KOSTAL Solar 4me App
New features and an enhanced user experience ensure greater transparency, easier monitoring and convenient control of modern energy systems

In addition, KOSTAL will be providing a preview of future developments at Intersolar:

We look forward to taking a look together at the upcoming developments in the fields of storage, PLENTICORE inverters and charging technology. You’re in for a treat.

Visitors can also look forward to a behind-the-scenes look at inverter development – and a special trade fair year: KOSTAL Solar Electric is celebrating 20 years of company history.

The trade fair presentation is complemented by the proven KOSTAL product portfolio, including:

  • the PLENTICORE plus G2 hybrid inverter
  • the PLENTICORE G3 universal inverter
  • and the commercial inverters of the PIKO CI series

The focus is on solutions that open up new business areas, make existing PV systems smarter and unlock additional potential in the fields of storage, self-consumption, control and e-mobility.

More possibilities. Less complexity.

The installer is at the heart of many of these developments. After all, new applications and additional functions must not lead to more work – but must make everyday life easier.

KOSTAL therefore presents solutions that:

  • simplify commissioning
  • reduce service requirements
  • make systems flexibly expandable
  • support digital processes
  • provide long-term planning security

This opens up new opportunities to efficiently implement cost-effective and future-proof energy systems.
