Efficient PV planning: K2 Base and KOSTAL Solar Plan now seamlessly connected

Plan PV systems even faster and more accurately with the new interface between K2 Base and KOSTAL Solar Plan.

KOSTAL and K2 Systems are now simplifying the planning of photovoltaic systems, and installers are benefiting from the seamless integration of two proven planning tools. With the innovative K2 Base planning software for mounting systems, PV systems can be designed in no time at all.

The project is then transferred directly to the web-based KOSTAL Solar Plan design tool with just a few clicks. This greatly simplifies the entire planning process, ensuring efficient, error-free and time-saving implementation.

How the transfer works:

  • Create a project in K2 Base
→ Select Kostal Solar Plan in the Summary tab under K2+ Inverter Design
  • Transfer project to KOSTAL Solar Plan
→ After logging in, the project is transferred directly to KOSTAL Solar Plan
→ The project can then be continued in KOSTAL Solar Plan

This interface between K2 Base and KOSTAL Solar Plan makes the planning process much more efficient. A clear advantage for installers and planners, ensuring smooth integration and optimal system planning.

Convenient: the K2 Base planning tool

The K2 Base planning tool enables fast, reliable and precise PV project planning. In five steps, you can optimally design the K2 mounting system and PV configuration for pitched and flat roofs.

Planning is simplified thanks to Google Maps and drawing tools. The tool automatically takes wind and snow loads into account, calculates roof fasteners and ballast, and offers an editor for roofs and module fields. Finally, the planner receives a detailed results report with an installation plan and a list of items – for efficient, error-free and time-saving PV planning that is very popular in the industry.

Clever: the web-based KOSTAL Solar Plan

The free design tool for PV systems makes planning much easier. It can be done in just a few steps on a desktop, tablet or smartphone. The software automatically assists with customer quotes and reports.

Thanks to Google Maps, worldwide PV planning is possible. Installers also benefit from an extensive module database with over 150,000 modules stored. The smart tool simplifies the entire planning process and ensures efficient, error-free implementation – quickly, intuitively and conveniently for projects of any size.

Well connected means faster planning

The new interface between K2 Base and KOSTAL Solar Plan makes planning photovoltaic systems easier, faster and more precise. The intelligent networking of both tools saves time and ensures smooth implementation – from the initial design to the finished plan.

The new, web-based KOSTAL Solar Plan is available to installers free of charge via the KOSTAL Solar Terminal.
