The HYPERION is a state-of-the-art battery storage system that has been specially developed for the high demands of commercial and industrial environments. With a service life of up to 20 years and more than 10,000 charging cycles, it sets standards in terms of reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Thanks to its modular design, the storage capacity can be flexibly expanded up to 20 kWh and adapted to the respective energy requirements - perfect for increasing loads due to production facilities, e-mobility or emergency power concepts.

Seamless integration with the PLENTICORE plus inverters makes the storage system the centrepiece of a future-proof energy system that combines maximum efficiency, maximum operational reliability and smart control options. Intelligent energy storage with maximum safety

With the HYPERION, BMZ relies on a 2-channel safety architecture that has been tested and confirmed by independent bodies. The robust metal housing provides additional protection and at the same time allows for simple, service-friendly installation. Weighing less than 28 kg per module, the cylinder can be installed quickly and easily by one person - complete commissioning takes less than 30 minutes.

PLENTICORE plus - Efficient hybrid inverter for flexible applications

The three-phase PLENTICORE plus hybrid inverter from KOSTAL offers a wide range of applications, whether for generating electricity with up to three MPP trackers or for storing self-generated energy. In addition to solar power, energy from a CHP or cogeneration plant can also be stored; battery connection is possible from installation or at a later date. In the second generation, integrated WLAN makes commissioning easier, and several devices can be connected in parallel via LAN. The four digital outputs offer additional control options, for example for heat pumps or charging stations.

With the AutoUpdate function, the PLENTICORE plus remains up-to-date at all times, as new software updates can be installed automatically. The device scores highly in terms of system efficiency, as proven by independent test series. As a hybrid inverter, the PLENTICORE plus saves on acquisition costs because battery and PV management are combined - separate devices are no longer required and system costs are reduced.

Optimum combination of PV system and heat pump

The PLENTICORE plus is suitable in various power classes for pure PV utilisation or as a hybrid solution with battery storage. With three DC inputs and a maximum current of 13 A each, larger module arrays of the modern 400 W generation can also be utilised. For intelligent energy utilisation, the combination with a heat pump is recommended, as this can flexibly control consumption according to the PV surplus - for example for hot water preparation or heating. It is controlled precisely via the network instead of a simple SG Ready interface, which further increases the proportion of self-consumption.

Thanks to the network interface and Modbus TCP communication, the hybrid inverter can also be connected to smart home solutions such as those from Brunner or NIBE. The PV surplus can be used specifically for heating energy without unintentionally discharging the battery. KOSTAL inverters and compatible heat pumps are therefore ideally equipped for efficient, sustainable energy management in your own home.
