KOSTAL Solar Electric is starting production of its new single-phase inverter PLENTICORE MP at its site in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia. With the start of series production, KOSTAL is continuing its innovation strategy and now offers a highly flexible solution – based on the PLENTICORE G3 – for single-phase applications.

German engineering, German manufacturing

As a long-established German company, KOSTAL has stood for the highest quality standards and engineering excellence ‘Made in Germany’ since 1912. The inverters are manufactured at the KOSTAL plant in Hagen.
Production includes printed circuit boards, chokes, the housing with display, WLAN antennas and other components. More than 1,950 components are used in the final production stages of the PLENTICORE – the only inverter in the world with performance and functional enhancements.
Once all components have been installed and the device has been sealed, each unit undergoes comprehensive functional testing. Only after passing quality control are the fully assembled inverters carefully packaged and shipped to our trading partners.
This ensures that customers can always rely on first-class, reliable products manufactured in Germany.

PLENTICORE MP: Innovative technology, maximum flexibility

The inverter covers a power range from 3 to 7 kW, making it ideal for small and medium-sized PV systems.

In addition to flexible expandability, the most important features of the new inverter include its versatility as a solar, hybrid or battery inverter. With up to three MPP trackers, powerful shade management and easy integration into existing systems, the PLENTICORE MP G3 is recommended for both new installations and retrofitting older systems.
DC coupling and high-voltage technology ensure minimal conversion losses and maximum storage efficiency. In combination with the optional backup power function, the power supply remains reliable even in the event of a grid failure. It also offers additional safety thanks to the optional DC overvoltage protection.

The PLENTICORE MP G3 is aimed at installers, dealers and end users who value simple planning, maximum safety and future-proof investments. In combination with the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter, it enables clever monitoring via the KOSTAL Solar Portal, automatic updates and compatibility with numerous battery storage systems and heat pumps.
Together with the single-phase KOSTAL Wallbox ENECTOR 7.4 and the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter, the PLENTICORE MP G3 provides an efficient complete system for renewable self-generated electricity and e-mobility from a single source. The devices meet the highest ‘Made in Germany’ quality standards and stand for reliable operation, simple installation and a long service life.
