For this concept, KOSTAL received the prestigious European Product Design Award (EPDA) in the ECO DESIGN / Green: Alternative Energy Source Products category for its innovative PLENTICORE G3 inverter. This award highlights KOSTAL’s commitment to sustainable, forward-looking energy technologies.

The EPDA honors outstanding product designs that focus on functionality, innovation, and sustainability. The award is presented annually and recognizes KOSTAL’s pioneering work in setting new standards. An international jury of design and technology experts evaluates entries based on innovation, usability, and environmental responsibility.

Usable as a solar, hybrid, or battery inverter, it offers maximum flexibility across a wide range of applications. Available in multiple performance classes, the PLENTICORE G3 provides flexible solutions for various energy demands. With models ranging from 4 kW to 20 kW, it serves both private households and larger commercial installations. Thanks to the option for later power enhancement, users can scale their systems according to changing needs.

In addition, the PLENTICORE G3 includes a powerful backup power function for uninterrupted energy supply. In the event of a grid outage, the system can switch to backup mode with a battery to keep essential appliances running. For enhanced protection and reliability, the PLENTICORE G3 is optionally available with Type 2 DC surge protection – safeguarding the system from damage caused by events like lightning strikes.
