KOSTAL Inverters Now Fully Compatible with MarkeDroid AI Energy Management Platform

The integration enables KOSTAL inverters to connect to MarkeDroid services using a dedicated MarkeDroid device. The setup is straightforward, making it easy to benefit from smart, software-driven optimisation of solar production, consumption, storage, and grid interaction.

By combining KOSTAL’s reliable power electronics with MarkeDroid’s spot price-based optimisation, forecasting algorithms and automated control as well as acess to flexible markets, system owners gain higher self-consumption rates, lower electricity bills and improved utilisation of their solar and storage assets.

Beyond end-customer benefits, installers and energy service providers can now integrate KOSTAL devices seamlessly into MarkeDroid projects, enabling new service models, differentiation in competitive markets and simplified system commissioning.

• PLENTICORE G3 (hybrid)
• Automated battery charging and discharging based on spot market prices
• Forecast-based optimisation using weather, consumption and production data
• Direct communication via KOSTAL interfaces (API / Modbus TCP)
• Full operation without additional on-site hardware

This enables use cases such as dynamic tariff optimisation, peak-shaving, intelligent surplus charging, and smart storage management.

The compatibility is available immediately in all markets where MarkeDroid operates.
Existing KOSTAL devices can be integrated through the MarkeDroid onboarding flow; in most cases, no firmware update is required beyond standard recommended KOSTAL updates.
