BYD Battery-Box Premium and KOSTAL PLENTICORE: Flexible storage solutions for every requirement

Whether single-family home or small commercial solution – the modular storages HVS+, HVM+ and HVB offer maximum flexibility, safety and easy integration. And the inverters of the PLENTICORE and PLENTICORE MP series form the basis for a modern and efficient energy system. They ensure optimal control of solar power and enable smooth integration of battery storage.

Thanks to direct DC coupling, automatic battery detection and guided setup, commissioning is particularly simple. Continuous software updates ensure that the devices remain future-proof and also meet new requirements for energy management and sector coupling. Thus, the PLENTICORE inverters are the ideal complement to the storage systems of the BYD Battery-Box Premium series and optionally even allow the addition of DC surge protection and the KOSTAL BackUp Switch.

BYD Battery-Box HVS+ – compact, safe and expandable

The HVS+ is the right solution for single-family homes with medium energy demand. With capacities from 5.1 to 12.8 kWh, the storage capacity can be flexibly adjusted. By parallel connection up to 3 towers are possible, resulting in up to 38.4 kWh.

The modular plug-in system enables easy installation without internal cabling and allows expansion at any time. The integrated charging and discharging power of up to 12.8 kW per tower ensures high efficiency in operation. Thanks to safe lithium iron phosphate technology (LFP) and intelligent functions such as automatic SOC adjustment, the HVS+ meets the highest safety and comfort requirements.
 

BYD Battery-Box HVM+ – strong performance for large systems

The HVM+ was developed for larger homes and small commercial systems. With a modular structure of three to eight battery modules, it offers capacities from 8.3 to 22.1 kWh per tower. By parallel connection of up to three towers, the total capacity can be increased to around 66 kWh.

The HVM+ delivers continuous currents of up to 50 A as well as peak currents of 80 A and is thus also suitable for applications with higher energy demand. The integrated balancing technology optimizes cell usage, while the safe LFP technology ensures a long service life. Thanks to plug-and-play installation, the system is easily expandable – regardless of the charge state.
 

BYD Battery-Box HVB – maximum flexibility in a compact format

The HVB focuses on maximum flexibility and a compact design for private and commercial applications. With usable energy of up to 29.69 kWh per system, it is versatile. Its innovative “Blade Battery” technology offers high energy density with a compact design.

Each module weighs less than 30 kg and can thus be installed by one person. With an efficiency of over 95% and a charge/discharge power of up to 30 A in conjunction with the PLENTICORE G3 L, the HVB convinces in daily operation. Robust die-cast housing and intelligent communication round off the system.
 

Strong overall system for the energy transition

All storage units of the BYD Battery-Box Premium series are fully compatible with the single- and three-phase KOSTAL inverters of the PLENTICORE series. This combination creates a powerful, efficient and safe energy system for more independence, lower energy costs and a sustainable energy future.
