KOSTAL expands connectivity: New partnership with Kiwigrid for intelligent energy management

KOSTAL is expanding its partner network and giving users of the PLENTICORE G2 and PLENTICORE G3 series Hybrid inverters access to Kiwigrid's energy management solutions in conjunction with the KOSTAL Energy Meter. The result: even more economical control of the PV system - including tariff-optimised charging of the battery storage system.

With the increasing spread of dynamic electricity tariffs, the demands on the energy management of private households are growing. The extended connectivity enables the Kiwigrid energy management system to intelligently integrate KOSTAL storage systems into the overall energy logic of the household. This takes into account generation, consumption and price signals from dynamic electricity tariffs in order to optimise the use of available energy.

For example, a cost-optimised operating mode can be prepared when electricity exchange prices are low, while surplus solar power can be used efficiently in the household. This increases flexibility in the home and supports economically optimised energy use.
