Small solar systems make a splash with the PIKO MP plus single-phase inverter, which can be used with as few as three PV modules: flexible, handy and reliable.

PIKO MP plus: Can be used everywhere

The KOSTAL PIKO MP plus can be used in numerous countries around the world and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

It can be used as a PV inverter or as a hybrid inverter, in conjunction with the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter.

In the solar inverter operating mode, the PIKO MP plus has 1 or 2 MPP trackers for connecting solar modules. The advantage of having 2 MPP trackers is that the PIKO MP plus is more flexible in the planning process and produces higher yields.

The PIKO MP plus is ideal for small systems, starting at just three modules. Its broad input voltage range also allows the PV modules to be connected in numerous different ways.

PIKO MP plus – powerful for small roofs

The PIKO MP plus reliably converts solar energy into usable household electricity – for immediate self-consumption or to feed into the public grid.

The optional KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter continuously monitors the home consumption and creates a visual representation of it in the free KOSTAL Solar Portal or the Solar App. This means that the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter supports energy management in the PIKO MP plus.

The single-phase PIKO MP plus as a solar inverter is available with one PV input depending on the power class. This makes it easy to implement small solar systems of three modules or more.

PIKO MP plus – flexible options

The PIKO MP plus with two PV inputs and extended input voltage range enables flexible wiring options for your solar system.

The optional KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter measures the home consumption around the clock and supports energy management in the PIKO MP plus.

Tip: One PV input can also be used for a battery. This enables you to use your self-generated energy at a later time.
